WORLEY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS seeks an intermediate architectural designer / project architect with 5-8 years of professional experience and a B. Arch or M. Arch with strong technical skills.

The firm has a 47-year history of successful practice that includes business, governmental, educational and university clients.  Our staff also has expertise in the design of facilities for corporate headquarters, production and warehouse facilities, and non-profits as well as exceptional capabilities in recreation, wellness and sports facilities.

We believe each member of our team brings a meaningful perspective, and we encourage collaboration because individual strengths contribute to a productive team, excellent projects and ultimately build lasting relationships with our clients, engineers and contractors. Additionally, we ensure our Architects stay involved with their projects from initial concepts through final construction administration.

What you’ll need:

  • 5-8 years of professional practice experience
  • architectural license or seeking licensure
  • strong proficiency in Revit
  • experience in Bluebeam Revu, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suites preferred
  • knowledge of building codes and ability to research and incorporate into documents
  • effective time management skills to work on multiple projects within concurrent deadlines
  • knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines or LEED accreditation is a plus

Primary responsibilities:

  • construction document production
  • consultant coordination and management
  • attend construction site visits, field reviews and progress meetings; document as needed
  • may assist with written proposals and general business development
